The boom of telemedicine is connected with two main factors. First of all, telemedicine solutions directly contribute to improvement of health of patients, e.g. through better monitoring of adverse effects, simpler and faster access to doctors, therapies, etc. Secondly, they contribute directly to reduction of health care costs.
